A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC). The HSDC is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving people and their pets since 1972. They Annually adopt over 1200 homeless animals. in alignment with their core philosophy of helping unwanted animals in their community, the HSDC medical clinic performed 1933 spay/neuter surgeries. The HSDC strives to ensure the best possible treatment, care and placement of animals in need.

Race Start Times:
The Kids Fun Run will start first at 9:00am and at 9:15am the 5k & 10k participants will begin.

Every race will start and finish at the exact same line behind COSI at Genoa Park on the paved trail. See below for course maps:
Kids FUN Run: 100 meter dash ending at the start/finish line for the 5k/10k race.
Everyone in the 5k and 10k will receive a finishers medal.
Special medals will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female in each age group and overall.
Participants must be present on event day to receive their medal, medals will not be mailed.
Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+
All Kids Dash participants will receive their choice of a mini pie or doughnut.
Safety Protocols & Social Distancing:
- Anyone who wants to start the race after the main group has begun the run is more than welcome to and your time will still be accurate.
-There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the start/finish and packet pickup areas as well as at each water station on course.
-Anyone who has COVID-19 will not be able to attend nor participate in the event. Additionally anyone who has come into contact with anyone who has or had COVID-19 within the past 21 days will not be able to attend nor participate. This includes participants, race staff and volunteers.
Local government and/or health officials may force us to change the in person status of the race due to COVID. Therefore this race may transition to a virtual event and no refunds or transfers will be offered. If this race transitions to virtual you will need to pick up your race swag bag at the originally scheduled packet pickup time/date above. No items will be mailed except for those who register for the virtual races.
Parking will be available in the Northwest Parking Lot and the parking lots by COSI for $5 per vehicle.

This is a dog friendly event. We will have a bowl for dogs setup at the water stations and at the finish line!
We do allow strollers at this event.
Headphones/iPod/mp3 devices are allowed, though are strongly not recommended. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers.
If at any time you are in need of assistance throughout the run please notify an aid station volunteer, police officer or course marshall.
All participants are required to sign an online waiver in order to register for the race.
