Event Charity:
A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC). The HSDC is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving people and their pets since 1972. They Annually adopt over 1200 homeless animals. in alignment with their core philosophy of helping unwanted animals in their community, the HSDC medical clinic performed 1933 spay/neuter surgeries. The HSDC strives to ensure the best possible treatment, care and placement of animals in need.

The Kids Fun Run will start first at 8:30am and at 8:45am the 5k, 10k & 1/3 marathon participants will begin.

Kids FUN Run: 100 meter dash ending at the start/finish line for the 5k/10k race.
Awards:
Everyone in the 5k, 10k & 1/3 marathon will receive a finishers medal.
Age groups are as follows for the 5k, 10k & 1/3 marathon and results will be posted with age groups but there will not be an awards ceremony that way everyone can leave after the race to get ready for the big game!
9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89 & 90+

Parking will be available in the Northwest Parking Lot and the parking lots by COSI. These lots are operated by a third party parking lot company and are not associated with the race organizers.

Additional Information:
This run will be chip timed and it is very important that you visibly wear your bib on the front of your chest/body when crossing the start and finish line to ensure an accurate race time.
This is a dog friendly event however dogs must be on a leash and to avoid tripping at the start line we recommend anyone with a dog starts after the main group has begun. We will have a bowl for dogs setup at the finish line!
Anyone who wants to start the race after the main group has begun the run is more than welcome to and your time will still be accurate.
We do allow strollers at this event.
Headphones/iPod/mp3 devices are allowed, though are strongly not recommended. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers as well as verbal instructions from course marshals.
If at any time you or someone else on course is in need of assistance throughout the run please notify a course marshal or dial 911 in case of an emergency and then please let the closest course marshal know as well.
The run will start rain, snow or shine. The run could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions. The above schedule is weather-dependent.
Virtual Racers:
Virtual racers will receive a turkey hat or long sleeve shirt or hoodie, race bib and finishers medal.
Anyone who plans to participate in the 5k, 10k and/or 1/3 marathon virtually will have until December 31 to enter their times online. If you do not wish to enter your time online that is ok as it is not required.
When registering please indicate whether you will pickup your packet in person or if you would like it mailed to you.
