Register by 1pm on April 15th to be guaranteed this year's shirt in your preferred size, after April 15 shirts may be available in a different color/design than what is shown.

Shirts may still be available in your preferred size after April 15 as the Browns Backers will order extra shirts in each size but we need to put this disclaimer in as that is when the shirt order is being placed.

Event Charity:
Your support of this race is greatly appreciated as proceeds from the race will go directly to the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers for their 2025 charities. This past year the LEIBB donated over $14,000 to local, regional and national foundations and charities including the:  Alliance for the Great Lakes, Lake Erie Foundation, World Central Kitchen, 4Ocean, Lake Erie Island Nature Camp, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund, American Legion Post 542, Put-in-Bay School STEM program, Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church Catillon Fund, Ottawa County "Kids for Christmas" which will put food on the table and a present under the tree for local area families in need, Put-in-Bay Arts Council, Lake Erie Nature Center, Scott Pugh Foundation, Ottawa Count Humane Society, Ottawa County Community Foundation, Lake Erie Islands  Conservancy, Teachers Appreciation Week by planning a breakfast for Put-in-Bay School Teacher's, Back to the Wild, and six Put-in-Bay High School scholarships. The scholarships included the Gustav Heineman Scholarship, Ricky Dysert Scholarship, Jer-Bear Scholarship, Jeff Verhoff Scholarship, Woody Widmar and 3 $1500 scholarship from the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers. The LEIBB are a non-profit organization established in 2001.

Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration:
There will not be an early packet pickup.

Race day packet pickup will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025 (race day morning) starting at 9:30am at Mr. Ed's Bar & Grille which is located at:

300 Delaware Avenue
Put-in-Bay, OH 43456

Race Start Times:
5k - 10:30am

Course Details:
The 5k will start and finish at the exact same line across from the Boardwalk on Bayview Ave. See below for course maps:

Awards:
The overall top 3 male and female participants to cross the finish line will receive a special prize.

Everyone will receive a Draft Day 5k mug.

There will not be age group awards since mugs are being given away to everyone.

Parking Information:
Parking is located around the park, behind the police station and at many local surrounding businesses in the downtown area.

FAQ:
We do allow dogs as well as strollers at this event.

Anyone who wants to start the race after the main group has begun the run is more than welcome to and your time will still be accurate.

Virtual Racers:
Virtual racers will receive a shirt and race bib in the mail. Mugs are not available for virtual racers however if you register for the virtual race and would prefer to pickup your packet or have someone pick it up for you then you can receive a mug.

Anyone who plans to participate in the 5k virtually will have until May 31 to enter their times online. If you do not wish to enter your time online that is ok as it is not required.
