The Pataskala Parks and Recreation Department has a mission to maintain and improve park facilities for the continued enjoyment of the current residents as well as future potential residents. All proceeds from this annual Pace With Passion race will go towards continued park improvements such as walking paths and other park amenities that that are needed within our 7 parks.
Every participant in the 5k and 1mi will receive a super soft tech blended race shirt, finishers medal, custom race bib, a chip timed race and instant results!
Every participant in the kids fun run will receive a finishers medal and a custom race bib!

The Kids Fun Run will start first at 6:00pm followed by the 1mi and 5k at 6:15pm. Ideally we would like the 5k participants to start first however if you have friends/family members signed up for the 1mi that wants to start with you that is permitted.

Location & Course Details:
Every race will start and finish at the exact same location at Foundation Park which will be on the north side of the park between the playground and the large gravel parking lot. Registration and restrooms will be located close by at the shelter house/pavilion.
The course will stay entirely inside Foundation Park and will be on a mixture of dirt trails through the woods as well as both gravel and paved paths through the park.
Safety Protocols & Social Distancing:
We are extremely excited to run with you in person (and virtually) and kindly ask that you follow state and local health guidelines. We will communicate all guidance mandated by health officials to you via email and on our social media platforms. At the race we will be following the guidance mandated by local health officials so that we can continue to host live, in person races!
Parking Information:
There will be plenty of parking at Foundation Park.
Make sure to enter into the park off of Mcintosh Rd, the gates off of Broad St will be closed. You can still enter off Broad St and park at the south end of the park but you will have to walk to the north end of the park for check-in and the start of the race.
Strollers and Dogs are Permitted:
This is a dog friendly event. We will have a doggy water station setup at the 5k water station as well as at the finish line!
We do allow strollers at this event.
