We are proud to provide the community of Columbus an opportunity to get out and work off that "COVID 15" in a safe outdoor environment and with a professional race day experience.
We will be sending all participants home with some awesome and unique event swag!
Participants will receive a custom race bib, 3" diecast full color finishers medal, event branded printed mask (hopefully this is the last mask you'll ever need to wear!), travel size hand sanitizer, a chip timed race, instant results, snacks, refreshments AND MORE!!
Soft, ringspun and poly blended, long sleeve race shirts are available for $11. The shirt color is heathered navy and the print will be one color (white) centered on the front. See below for the shirt and an example of the print location. Again shirt print will be white.

Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration:
Packet pickup will be on race day morning at Sharon Woods Metro Park. We will be at the end of the very first parking lot to your left as you enter into the park off of Cleveland Ave.

Race day registration is allowed however pre-registering online is preferred to keep packet pickup contactless.
There will not be an early packet pickup.
Race Start Times:
The kids fun run will begin at 8:50am followed by the 6k, 12k & 18k participants at 9am. The 1mi walkers will start just after the 6k, 12k and 18k participant clear the start line.
Course Details:
Every race will start and finish at the exact same line on the paved outer trail at Sharon Woods. The course is very flat and fast. The 6k will run one loop of the outer park trail, 12k will do two loops and 18k will do three loops. The 1mi course will be on a combination of paved, gravel and dirt paths as you weave through the park and alongside Schrock Lake.

Additional Information:
-There will be hand sanitizing stations at the start/finish line and at the packet pickup areas as well as at the water station on course
-Anyone who has COVID-19 will not be able to attend nor participate in the event. Additionally anyone who has come into contact with anyone who has or had COVID-19 within the past 21 days will not be able to attend nor participate. This includes participants, race staff and volunteers.
AS OF APRIL 16, 2021 COLUMBUS METROPARKS AS WELL AS THE FRANKLIN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAVE APPROVED OUR SAFETY PLAN FOR THE EVENT AND THE EVENT WILL BE HAPPENING IN PERSON! Local government and/or health officials may force us to change the in person status of the race due to COVID. Therefore this race may transition to a virtual event and no refunds or transfers will be offered. If this race transitions to virtual you will need to pick up your race swag bag at the originally scheduled packet pickup time/date above. No items will be mailed except for those who register for the virtual races.
Parking Information:
Parking is available close to the start/finish line in the adjacent parking lot. We will be setup at the very end of the first parking lot to your left as you enter into the park off Cleveland Ave.
Strollers and Dogs are Permitted:
This is a dog friendly event however all dogs must be on a short leash. If you are running a longer distance like the 12k or 18k make sure you know your dogs limits to ensure their safety. We will have a doggy water station setup alongside the "human" water station on course well as at the finish line!
We do allow strollers at this event but ask that you walk/run on the right hand side of the trail to allow other participants to pass.
